Kayana Szymczak is a freelance editorial and commercial photographer currently based in Boston and Chicago. Her work has received recognition and awards from The Marty Forscher Fellowship for Humanistic Photography, the Open Society Foundation's Audience Engagement Grant, the Dart Award for Excellence for Coverage in Trauma, the International Center of Photography, the International Photography Awards, the Boston Press Photographers Association, and American Photography.
